Workspaces & Members

Workspaces are how you organize your agents and collaborate with others. Each workspace has its own agents, members, and billing.

What is a workspace?

A workspace is a shared space for your agents. Think of it like a team folder:

  • All your agents live inside a workspace
  • You can invite team members to collaborate
  • Billing and usage are managed at the workspace level
  • You can belong to multiple workspaces (e.g., one for your company, one for personal agents)

Creating a workspace

When you sign up for Shogo, you'll create your first workspace. To create additional workspaces:

  1. Click your workspace name in the sidebar.
  2. Select Create Workspace.
  3. Enter a name for your workspace.
  4. Click Create.

Switching between workspaces

If you belong to multiple workspaces:

  1. Click your workspace name in the sidebar.
  2. Select the workspace you want to switch to.

Your dashboard will update to show that workspace's agents.

Inviting members

To add someone to your workspace:

  1. Go to Settings in the sidebar, then open the People tab.
  2. Click Invite Member.
  3. Enter their email address.
  4. Choose their role:
    • Owner — Full access, including billing and workspace settings
    • Admin — Can manage members and agents
    • Editor — Can create, edit, and view agents
    • Viewer — Read-only access to agents
  5. Click Send Invitation.

The person will receive an email invitation. Once they accept, they'll appear in your members list.

Pending invitations

You can see pending invitations in the People tab under Settings. Invitations that haven't been accepted yet will show as "Pending."

Managing members

From the People tab in Settings, you can:

  • View all members — See who has access to your workspace
  • Change roles — Promote or change a member's role
  • Remove members — Remove someone from the workspace

Workspace settings

Go to Settings in the sidebar. Settings are organized into tabs:

  • Workspace — Rename your workspace, set default per-member spending limits
  • People — Manage members and invitations
  • Account — Profile and preferences
  • Billing — View and manage your plan, seats, and usage

How billing works with workspaces

Usage and subscriptions are tied to the workspace, not to individual users. This means:

  • All members of a workspace share the workspace's monthly included usage pool
  • The workspace owner manages the billing plan and seat count
  • Adding seats (Pro / Business) increases the included usage proportionally
  • Upgrading the plan gives more included usage and unlocks new features
