Affiliate Program

Earn recurring commissions by referring new customers to Shogo. The program is opt-in: nothing changes for your account until you explicitly enroll and get your unique referral link.

How it works​

  1. Enroll — Opt in from the Affiliate section of the app to claim your unique referral link.
  2. Share your link — Send it to anyone who might benefit from Shogo. The link sets a referral cookie that lasts 60 days.
  3. They sign up and pay — When someone you referred starts a paid Shogo subscription, you're credited as their referrer.
  4. You earn — Commissions accrue on each of their paid invoices and are paid out to your connected bank account.

Commission rate​

You earn 20% of each referred customer's seat subscription for the first 12 months, then 10% forever after for as long as they remain a paying customer.

  • Commissions are calculated on the seat subscription (per-seat plan revenue).
  • Usage overage is excluded from the commission basis. Metered usage beyond a plan's window is billed at the provider's raw cost plus markup and represents infrastructure passthrough, not plan revenue, so it does not earn commission.

Payouts​

  • Commissions are held during a refund window before they become payable, so refunded or charged-back invoices don't pay out.
  • Once eligible, balances are paid to a Stripe-connected bank account. You'll be prompted to connect one before your first payout.
  • Payouts are batched and only sent once your approved balance clears a minimum threshold.
  • Stripe issues a 1099-NEC if you earn $600 or more in a calendar year (US affiliates).

Eligibility and rules​

  • Self-referrals are not eligible — you can't use your own link to earn on your own subscription.
  • Customers who subscribe through Apple in-app purchase are excluded from earning commissions.
  • Commissions may be reversed on refund or chargeback.
  • When sharing your link, you must follow the FTC disclosure requirements for affiliate relationships.
